- DOCUMENTATION UNIT INCLUDING INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM (IKS)

- INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY UNIT
ZOOM SITE UNIT
- Our role within the section is to:
- To supervise the village facilitators
- To collect data for documentation
- To document all data collected
- Share information with the relevant stakeholders
- Attend relevant meetings
DOCUMENTATION UNIT WITH IKS
- This unit is the objective of this unit:
- Document all the programs that MDIC rolls out.
- To show all the lessons that were learnt during the process of rolling out the programs.
- Share the information with relevant stakeholders.
- To document all indigenous knowledge within Umhlabuyalingana area.
- To commercialize traditional knowledge .
- To share indigenous knowledge with other communities for example Dlangezwa and Inkandla communities.
COMPUTER LITERACY TRAINING UNIT
- This unit is responsible for computer literacy training to the public in the following modules:
- Basic computing
- Windows XP
- Ms Word
- Ms Excel
- Ms Power Point
- Introduction to Internet and e-mails
INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY UNIT
- The services that are provided in this unit are:
- Typing and printing
- Laminating
- Binding
- Photocopying
- Business and invitation cards designing and printing
- Internet café
- Fax
- Within this unit we also develop and maintain our website.
- We also provide the technical support within the organization.
